The Look of A Classic The Epiphone Viola features a laminated Maple top and Maple body in a beautiful Vintage Sunburst (VS) finish. The unique 30.5” scale Maple neck is hand set and glued. The fingerboard has a a 12” radius, a 1.65” nut, and classic dot inlays. The headstock riffs on our Epiphone’s Sloped Dovewing design seen on Epiphone models through the 60s. Vintage Tone For Today The Epiphone Viola’s unique tonal range comes from a NYR (neck) and NYT (bridge) mini humbucker which accentuates the natural tone of the Maple body.
