Overview The 3D printed parts are designed to replace the original grills on the HiFiMan HE400se headphones. Resulting in a more open sound signature and a slight decrease in sub bass response. Installation Instructions Use double-sided tape to affix the driver wires to the black felt that surrounds the outside of the driver. This step is important to ensure that the wires remain out of the way during installation and do not interfere with the magnets. Please refer to the video below for a detailed installation guide. For additional protection, it is recommended to remove the fabric from the back of the original grill and place it over the magnets. This helps to prevent hairs or other debris from entering the headphone enclosure. Important Notice While the modification process is relatively simple, it is important to proceed with care to avoid potential damage to the headphones. The mod can generally be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively. However it should be noted that any damage incurred during installation is the responsibility of the user.
